Thursday 6/16 Plans

Hopefully everyone has been safe and cool during these last couple of days. I have been lucky enough to be unaffected by the power outages but I’m doubtful that is true for everyone.

Depending on your store, you may have a different load of work today.

Some stores were able to start working through their garden delivery product, some were not.

We need to make sure we are prioritizing our watering as normal, and working on building our displays. Overall we should be taking the time to see what toss we can do to help make space. We should be more selective on our 8pk flat varieties to focus more on the 6pk flat varieties. Corporate has said to worry about focusing on FRESH product. So if something is old, looking meh, etc- it’s time to get rid of it. Please feel free to send me a text with a photo if you feel unsure about anything.

Please do your best to keep new product onto your front tables. Typically it’s at its best when it arrives (other than the times it comes in dry) and we should give it that opportunity to sell right away. It’s been hanging out in a greenhouse in Michigan getting around the clock care. As much as we do a good job, everything is on a timeline as soon as it hits our stores. We need to maximize our highest sell times and get product out and displayed well right away. Focus the older stuff to the back.

I appreciate everyone during this hot time. Please remember that my main concern is you. Do not get yourself to a point of exhaustion for the job. Keep your priorities straight and get the watering done first. That way if it starts getting too ridiculously hot, you just gotta clean up your current project and go. No harm done.
