Monday 5/2 plans

Happy Monday! I'm going to be honest. This is going to be a tough week. Deliveries should be on time but may not always be. I am going to schedule you regardless of delivieres to stay on top of product. We can make small adjustments here and there as needed. This is the best week to call me instead of texting me with any urgent or concerning questions. This week, please check with me before leaving your store early. 

In floral - all five stores have a 3 pallet delivery. We need to work on cleaning up our displays, making it large and visually appealing, and saving our table space for the smaller gift product that doesn't look as good on the large displays. We need to focus on our watering, as dry product will likely not sell. People get really serious about their moms. We need to make sure we are doing our best to keep product looking good and signed. This is a stressful week for floral. You will have a lot of product and feel like you have too much. This is why we allow backstock. Call me, bug me. Let me know what is going on at your store. I want to know and I need to know so I can keep myself situated. 

In garden - the first thing i need everyone to do - check your signage. We have a sale starting on Sunday for garden product. These are the items they are trying to push hard for Mother's Day. These items are

The items listed below are ON AD but NOT ON SALE. This means that there is not a reduced retail, but they are on the Meijer ad for the week. We should have As Advertised Signage on these, and have them clearly marked or brought out for sales as some people may be looking for them. Especially the Boston Ferns

This is a stressy stressy week for me. I'm going to be trying to get to work early and leave late just to make sure everything gets done. Please remember that I am one person managing 25 people. All of you are awesome, and I really appreciate everyone. Keep communication clear, short, and sweet as best you can. 

Lastly - If you have your own forms of transportation - you get your store done and your shift isn't over yet but you still have a good deal of day left. Call me. I may need you elsewhere. Remember that travel time is paid between stores.
