FRIDAY 5/6/22 PLANS

Mother's day is approaching!

Floral - this is the easiest but likely trickiest day of the week. Most of our delivery today is fresh cuts. So work out the rest of your potted backstock, and then FILL YOUR COOLER TO THE BRIM WITH ROSES. Keep encore roses exclusively to the cooler. These are the $18.99 dozen packs we normally get. They may be a bit more expensive for the holiday so don't forget to check your prices. Then put mixed with roses, mixed, and bunches by your checklanes (if space is provided) if you have anything else in your cooler (pushy willow trees/ branches / lavender / wheat) take it out for roses. I expect every floral worker to give me a call today so we can discuss your specific plans. I will call anyone who is normally Garden but needs to assist in floral a call- so please expect to hear from me.

Gahanna 114 5 pallets
Lancaster 144 2 pallets
Reynoldsburg 212 4 pallets
Grove city 234 2 pallets
Canal 246 4 pallets

Also I NEED to turn in TWO CORPORATE SURVEYS TODAY so I will be calling to get my answers for that. I need to know if anyone does not have a hose at their store to water - fairly certain this doesn't apply to us but just make sure. And then also how many Garden racks are on grocery side from before. Expect calls from me.

Garden
Gahanna 114 7 racks
Lancaster 144 8 racks
Reynoldsburg 212 7 racks
Grove city 234 9 racks
Canal 246 7 racks

Garden feels nuts right now because it is ! Most of your product is probably gonna have to stay on carts. So here's what we need to do - get rid of the ugly stuff. This doesn't mean that I want you to go hard and toss a bunch of stuff. Now it's time- if you see some small things that we only have a few left of, or just don't look good - get rid of it. Especially early spring product (mums, snapdragons, pansies) Then - figure out what you think should be on display. If we gotta put some older product back on a rack to display the best stuff, we can do it. Squeeze the product close, but not so close that it can't breathe.  CONDENSING AND REORGANIZATION IS A MAJOR FACTOR FOR THE REST OF THE WEEK. We need to keep doing this so we can get more product out.
