Saturday 4/30 Plans
It’s 8:15pm and I haven’t stopped working yet today. If you are exhausted, don’t worry - so am I. We can be tired together. :)
Floral - Floral delivery in for Saturday. Two racks per store. ASN has been sent via email. Stores have been prepped that space will likely be needed for today. I will be sending an email in a moment to have stores try to prep displays if possible, but you will likely need to inform the store that you are there so they can assist and know to get started. Most of the product that you are getting in for Saturday can go onto tables for Mother’s Day or go onto your display. I would prioritize Lavender, Azaleas, African Violets, and Orchids for your large displays. Lavender, Azaleas, and Orchids for sure. Then use the newly opened space to put out some of the smaller product. You may keep backstock again of course. However, make sure that you mark it well, put a date on it, and store it differently depending on if it’s cold product or warm product. Please feel free to give me a call if you have any confusion about this.
Please report and send a photo of any and all backstock.
Current plan
144 Lancaster - Monica will be doing floral if it comes on time.
246 Canal- Amaya, Madison, Me
234 GC- Erica
114 Gahanna-Jared, Madison
212 Jared
Garden - Most of your product should have been pulled out yesterday except for the especially sensitive product. You have a new garden delivery coming in today.
Dipladinas, ferns, begonias - these should continue to stay in the greenhouse in the meantime while it is still a bit chilly overnight. Once we get into more consistently warmer weather we will bring them out more.
Please pay close attention to your tags on your product. It will always tell you if something is shade, part shade, part sun, or full sun. We need to watch these closely. Now that the weather is warming up, we are going to start getting more begonias and other varieties. These are shade products and if they do not go in the shade, their flowers will burn and it will cause us to have increased toss. This is very important.
The Proven Winner hanging baskets (and truly all baskets) need to be brought down to eye level for watering. Please do not attempt to overhead water. A bald spot on a single Proven Winner basket is an instant $45 loss.
Expected delivery counts for Saturday
Gahanna 114 2 racks
Reynoldsburg 212 5 racks
Lancaster 144 3 racks
Canal Winchester 246 9 racks
Grove City 234 5 racks
Please do not forget to keep me updated about empty cart counts.
I will upload a blog post for Sunday, but I will not be working Sunday. I will try to be clear in my post to help prevent any confusion. Any serious matters can be directed to a Meijer team leader.
